Student Selection Process
WMAAA is authorized by Grand Valley State University to serve students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. All Michigan students in grades K-8 are eligible to apply for enrollment. A random lottery is conducted when a particular grade is oversubscribed. No student is denied admission on the basis of race, religion, sex, national origin, intellectual or athletic ability.
Kindergarten Round-up
Kindergarten Round-up for the 2025-2026 school year was February 19th. If you missed that event, you can view the presentation here. If you have additional questions, please call the school office!
2025-2026 Enrollment
Openings in our classrooms for the upcoming school year are filled during our two week open enrollment period in March of each year.
2025-2026 Open Enrollment will be March 10-21, 2025
Open Kiosks for families needing assistance with enrollment will be available March 18, 2025 from 4:00-5:30pm.
If a public enrollment lottery is needed it will be held April 25, 2025 at 4:00pm.
